EcoInsects
Sustainability
Ecosystem services company providing insects for agriculture and environmental protection
About Us
Backed by research, EcoInsects works with farmers and land managers to match them with the right beetles for their needs
Established in 2023, EcoInsects was born from the Dung Beetle Ecosystem Engineers project which looked to improve the distribution and quantify the environmental and economic benefits of dung beetles.
In addition to dung beetles we also work on other beneficial insect species. For example, in season we have available the St John’s Wort beetles to control the weed species St John’s wort which is toxic to livestock and we have facilities to breed beetles that control environmental weeds such as cat's claw creep and Madeira vine.
